Pilot

Do you know how all the Netflix shows you watch usually have their first episode titled “Pilot”? I thought it was pretty cool until I realized it acted as an episode to evaluate the show’s potential for success. Now, I wonder about all the pilot episodes I’ve never seen. Anyway, I titled this post “Pilot” to mark the beginning of FREATS and have something cool to look back on. TBH, I don’t need a pilot article, but I believe it would be helpful to detail and outline everything I’ve planned. I know you guys are reading for food content, so I’ll keep this short and sweet.
If you didn’t know already, which would be pretty difficult, my name’s Fred, and I’m currently a grade 12 student. I love all aspects of food and think it holds more than just nutritional value; behind each meal is a unique story. Now, I may not be the best chef, but I certainly enjoy eating and exploring different cuisines and cultures simultaneously. My desire to share my passion with others sparked the idea for FREATS, a blog where I could write about anything; and after a bit of procrastination and hesitation, I created this beautiful site. Before I continue and accidentally forget, I want to thank and massively shout out Daniel, Arman, and Kyle for constantly helping and motivating me throughout the process. Love you guys <3.
With FREATS, I want to share many of my experiences and encounters with food, whether through short stories, restaurant reviews, or general blog posts. If there’s anything you guys want to read about, don’t hesitate to message @freats on Instagram with your thoughts (shameless plug, I know). Regarding my upload schedule, I aim to post something new every two weeks unless my teachers decide to schedule 4 tests in 1 week. Also, if anyone wants to write anything food-related and post it on FREATS, feel free to send me any content, including images. Additionally, the website might be down at times, so I can make visual and bug updates to keep everything up to date. I coded the website myself; therefore, it's definitely not perfect, and I'm also learning as I progress.
